spouse on payroll?

Post by Meesha » Thu Mar 15, 2018 11:31 am

Dear Forum members,
I believe it has been discussed earlier without definite conclusion.
I wonder if one can claim points for having spouse (British antional) on payroll?
Has anyone successfully claimed points for spouse on payroll?

Thanks a lot

Absolutely- not sure why that would be even a question.
You could potentially face more scrutiny on whether it is genuine employment but that’s about all.
I am more curious as to why someone would be on T1e when one can have a spouse visa and carry on with much less stress
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Because becoming spouse dependent will make me complete 5 years to get ILR while on Tier1 i am left with 9 months to apply for ILR.
