Using Business Visa for Tourism

Hi All,

I am currently having Type C Schengen Visa issued by German Consulate, valid till 09-01-2019. This is a Business Visa. I am planning to visit Italy (entry point) and Switzerland in April for personal travel purpose for 2 weeks. Will my existing visa work? Or should I apply for a new visa?

With my current Visa, I have stayed in Germany for 10 days only.

It should work. Make sure to have a copy of your health insurance for the trip, hotel booking confirmation, return ticket etc. with you.
