Tier 2(General) Visa Extension-Required Salary Threshold

Post by Jagannath108 » Fri Mar 16, 2018 5:50 pm

Hello Dear

I got Tier 2 Visa in September 2015 under SOC 3535 with the salary of GBP 21,000 yearly

My employer has reviewed my performance and increased my salary to GBP 25,000 from April 2017 onwards

My employer has also informed HO in regards to the increase in salary.

As per the following recent link

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... illed-work

The experienced level salary for SOC 3535 is GBP 35,300.

My visa is expiring at the beginning of Sept 2018.

I am planning to apply for the Tier 2 extension in June 2018.

Q-1: After my this 2018 year performance review, if my employer does not want to offer me the experience level salary of GBP 35,300 then is there any chance that my Tier 2 Extension Application will be getting refused?

Q-2: Hiking the salary from GBP 21,000 to GBP 35,300 yearly, Do my employer needs to perform RLMT?

Your quick response in this regards to highly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Jagannath

Q1
The chance is your application will 100% get refused

Q2
You are extending your application to continue to work for your current employer with the same SOC code so RLMT not required.
