Information regarding retention of rights and PR

Post by manixxx » Mon Mar 19, 2018 2:47 pm

Hey.

I am a non eu national. Was married to an eu national between 2010 -2015.

Got divorced and got ror in 2016 . Did not get PR as eu national had gaps in exercising treaty rights throughout the five year qualifying period.

The current residence card expires in 2021.

I have been working throughout all this period.

Questions:

At the end of 2021, Would I be eligible to apply for PR? Would I still need to provide any documents from my ex?

Would I be going for the 5 year qualifying period based on the ror , or ten year long stay qualifying period. It is my understanding that I will still not be able to fulfill the requirements based on ten year route as the eu national did not exercise treaty rights through our marriage as it is.

Any help would be much apppreciated. Thanks
