police clearance certificate for tier2 visa

I have a police certificate from UAE that is 4 months old. I had exited UAE 6 months ago. Do I need to provide a fresh Police clearance certificate from UAE while applying for tier 2 visa from India, where I am presently resident? Will the PCC from UAE on which it is mentioned that it is valid for only 3 months suffice, since I am not resident in UAE since 6 months?
