eu2irishman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:06 pmThanks for replying. It’s very weird that EU Fam applications are being delayed while others are processed much quickly.
Anyone else facing the same issue. Did anyone with EU Fam get an approval recently?
Yes, I was an EU national as well and I got my Irish citizenship in about 8 month. Its surprising that they take so much time to even assess an EuFam application.broli wrote: ↑Sun Mar 25, 2018 12:33 pmeu2irishman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 5:06 pmThanks for replying. I am EU i got approved in about 7 months (in the first wave of approval february ) (No court case No fine but some minor offences abroad which i disclosed) and many guys with EU4FAM got approved also 6-8 months in the last and this year. I can also see that it is not much faster for irish spouse (at least from watever info we have at the moment)
Its on case by case basis + chance
People said you need EU3 (Permanent resident )approved to avoir delay (my EU3 is still pending and i got approved on temporary visa)
***I am sure they look to make sure marriage are genuine 2 years ago they started to asking loafs of Utility bills with both spouses name (Seeing that : I prepared Bills + Bank statements and everything in both names so they dont waste time with it)
But i can see that yours is take quite sometimes without second letter. Some got second letter after 2 months and still waiting . Hope you get it quickly
More approval next 2 weeks according the e-mail the sent to me so many here will still make it
Yeah, I wonder why. It is understandable if they are tough while granting the initial EuFam Stamp4 as a part of the EU1. But this should not be the case for citizenship as the candidate would have been granted EUFam Stamp4 after vetting and also the candidate would have completed 5 years in Ireland
Thanks for the reply...did you apply in 2017 and get an approval in Feb-2018.

Anyone any experience with advance stage or response “application being prepared for submission” any idea how long it takes I’ve gotten this response 3 weeks ago I was hopeful at first but sent an email again yesterday and got the same response.
Thanks in advance
