Can I apply for settlement?

Post by Davidben » Fri Mar 23, 2018 2:43 pm

Dear friends on the immigrationbords.

I find this board is friendly and helpful.

I have been in the UK since 04/2010 with dependent visa of PSW(my wife). I changed to dependent visa of Tier 2 in 08/2011, and then in 07/2013 I gained the spouse visa (5 years partner route) of settlement (my wife's 10 year long residence). I applied for indefinite leave to remain in 11/2015 because I thought that I qualified for it with total of 5 years residence. My application was rejected and the Home Office gave me spouse visa via 10 years partner route in 11/2015. My current visa is due to end in 06/2018. I have a proper job and good salary.

From my case, am I eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain in 06/2018. If not I may have to renew the spouse visa via 10 years partner route.

I appreciate your generous help.
