Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me with my particular situation? I am a Swedish citizen who has been living in London for a number of years. I am planning to apply for a Spouse Visa for my Colombian fiance. We are going to get married this spring. I have a few questions regarding my payslips and financial requirements. For the past two years, I have been working as a support worker for the same company. The amount I earn fluctuates each month but for this year (April 2017-April 2018), I have calculated my annual gross total to be around £23000. My monthly gross for the past six payslips is as follows:
Feb: 1,777
Jan: 2,331
Dec: 1,533
Nov: 2,323
Oct: 2,248
Sep: 2,592
I am worried about my payslip for December since it is below the required threshold of £1,550. This is because I only received 2.5 weeks pay during the Christmas period. I received the remaining amount in January.
So in spring, when I apply for my Spouse Visa, is it best for me to show my annual earnings for 2017-2018 or to hand in my payslips for the past six months? Moreover, I am worried about the coming months ahead of me. Even though I earn more than the required threshold every month, there is always that possibility of me earning less than the threshold in one month.
Other information about me. I have around £10,000 in savings and I am planning to be in a freeholder partnership with my mother who is an English citizen. Will these factors compensate for my inconsistent salary in anyway? Sorry for being naive about all this. If anyone can help me, I will be more than grateful.
Kind Regards
