Continuous 5 year calculation

Post by Adi88 » Tue Mar 27, 2018 9:38 pm

Hi,

I got my 1st Tier-2 visa BRP on the 24/09/2013 with validity up to 24/09/2016.
I applied for my Tier-2 extension on 19/09/2016, but the grant date on my (2nd) BRP is 25/11/2016, valid up to 24/09/2019.
I want to apply for my ILR in September 2018. Is this going to be a problem, considering the 2 month gap between my 1st BRP's 'Valid up to' date and my 2nd BRP's 'Grant Date'?

Many thanks
Adi

Validity dates on your BRP aer irrelevant. You can apply 28 days from completing the 5 years, which will be the end of September 2018

Why the end of September? I think the eligibility would start at the end of August? 28th of August 2018 to be precise?
