Children are not subject to the minimum 5 year residence. Child can apply for ILR with you.
If the child is UK born and you plan on registering the child as British, the child DOES NOT require ILR.
Hi,
If child is born abroad and he is out of UK more than 12 months in initial application and in Extension leave as well. Can he/she still apply for ILR?
I am going to apply ILR May 2019. My Son born in Pakistan. He came and then went back. He is here after 13 months. Now he has extension visa and he is going back again for one year.
If i get ILR or apply for ILR. What will be his next application? Will it be ILR application or further two year extension?
Thanks.

As long as your son is in the country as a valid dependant when you apply for your ILR, you can apply for his ILR too (assuming he is under 16) as long as both you and your spouse are applying for ILR at the same time.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

My son is under three years at the moment. I will have to apply ILR but my wife has to apply further two year extension. She got visa in October 2014 and she came in UK August 2015. She left UK 17 December 2015 and came back March 2017.
Now she will be out from June 2018 to May 2019.
Obviously she has to apply further two year extension but what will be the Son Application? Still ILR or extension with Mother?
Thanks.
