35 points. When your employer applies for the certificate of sponsorship they just put in the salary you’ll actually get.Zizi321 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 3:47 amHey guys, I’ve been reading up on how the points are calculated. I have 20 points from RMLT, but just wondering if the salary points comes from the advertisement or the offer of employment? For example, if my employer advertises my job at 35-45k, but only pays me 35k, what would my points be?
Unfortunately it is absolutely, 100% impossible to make any kind of predictions about what the cut off will be.maticskhadka wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 4:15 pmHello guys ! I have only 29 points and My employer(A+) is applying for first time for RCOS, Do i have any chances ? If anyone have any idea about this , please let me know Thanks.
Usually employers will get results within 5 working days of the allocation date (the 11th or the first working day after that if it falls on a weekend). Some months though there have been delays for whatever reason (short staffed, etc.). Would make sense it took them longer in March because there were only a very small amount available so they’d have to go through them more throughly to find the cut off score - that’s why higher points tend to find out first...HO are able to notify them right away because they know they’ll reach whatever the cut off is.FaNIX wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 10:42 amI'm curious to know how long usually it takes home office to start releasing results after having the sitting meeting. I know that this month the sitting will be 11 April. Based from what I saw in March, there were results the following day but these were released slowly and some got their results as late as 26 March.
It also seemed that higher application scores got their results first. Is this a valid observation?
Thanks
