Switching from Derivative resident permit to leave to remain as parent of British child

Please I need advice from anyone with similar experience or moderators.
My question is as follows.
My derivative residence card expires soon but I do not want to continue on same route.Can I switch to flr fp before 28 days to my current visa expires and my second question is can I go premium service as I believe I meet all the requirement.Thanks in anticipation of your response

Hello everyone,
I posted seeking for advice but nobody responded however I went ahead and apply Flp and the good news is I have been granted my visa today am excited and thank God he has been faithful to me and my kids.The process took 4 hours in total from start to finish.For does believing just be truthful in your application and I wish you guys luck .
