Will ILR holders be affected by Brexit?

Post by rosina90 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 5:30 pm

Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this question has been asked already. Because of the Brexit, will ILR holders be affected in terms of applying for British Citizenship? Do we need to hurry and apply before Brexit finally completes in March 2019?

Also, since we are exiting from EU, is one of the character referees still need to be an EU national?

Thank you.

Are you referring to ILR under the UK Immigration Rules, or PR under the EEA Regulations :?:

In which case ILR is not relevant to Brexit.
