Cohabitation Documents-ILR-Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Post by grenland7862 » Fri Mar 23, 2018 6:11 pm

Dear Members,

I am applying ILR next week on the basis of Tier 1 Entrepreneur and came across a query with regards to two years Cohabitation Documents:-

I am applying on first week of April 2018 along wife and children so we need to show Cohabitation Documents from April 2016 to April 2018.

I have one issue, we have only council tax where our joint name are mentioned but we have council tax letter for the period March 2015 to March 2016, then March 2018 to March 2019, we lost council tax letters for the period 2016/17 and 2017/18, however my wife have following documents on her names:-

Bank statements 2012 to 2018
TV License 2013 to 2018
Water bill 2012 to 2018
NHS Letters 2017 to 2018
Home office letters 2017
Payslips 2016 to 2018
Prepaid card 2017 -2018

I have enough documents for myself.
Bank statements
Mortgage statements
Electric/gas bills
Mobile bills
Telephone bills
DVLA Road tax
Driving license docs
NHS Letters
Tax return letters

We also requested letters from our GP and School, they will provide letters next week mentioning joint names on the letters.

Can anyone please guide if above documents would be enough if we miss two periods council tax bills, however we will attached recent council tax bill dated March 2018.

Any response from senior members will be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot

There is no requirement for tons of documents nor for all to be in joint names. You can have individual documents- just need to have same address.
Pick up one document for every six months or so and that should do

Hi marcnath,

Thanks for your response, so we can pick 4 documents from each source to cover two years period , that would be enough.

SET(O) Application Form for indefinite leave to remain from 6 April 2018

Post by grenland7862 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 7:20 pm

I would be grateful if any senior member clarify this point, I am applying ILR next week on 5 year category.
I printed and filled SET(O) Application Form dated 16 March 2018, however home office making changes in fee and issuing new filled SET(O) from 6 April 2018.

I read a post where someone mentioned applicants can still use old form (16 March 2018) if they apply before 15 April 2018.

I may send the application on 12 or 13 April 2018.

I would appreciate if any senior member clarify that do i need to print new SET(O) form or can use old form & fee.

Many Thanks

Kindly keep ALL questions regarding ILR in a single topic (this one) and kindly please don't post ILR questions in the Tier 1 Entrepreneur sub forum.

You can use the old form. You have 21 days from the date the new form comes out to still use the old form. However, you will have to pay the new fees which come into effect on Friday, 6th April, so would make sense to use the new form, in case there are more changes than just the fee page (which is sometimes the case).

Yes, just try to spread out the dates across the two year period.

Dear Members,

This forum has always been very helpful and supportive, i am applying ILR next week (2ND EXTENSION) after completing 5 years in Tier 1 Entrepreneur category.

I had no interview or inspection from HO at the time of first extension, i see here all posts for first extension suggest that HO now conduct interviews at business premises but i couldn't find any post for interview with regards to ILR application.

I would be grateful if anyone could share experience who attended interviews at second extension (ILR) and what type of questions expected to be asked at this stage.

I am pretty satisfied with regards to their requirements required at this stage.

Many thanks
