Validity of Police Clearance Certificate from India for Tier 2 (General) Visa

Post by Plabber_123 » Fri Apr 06, 2018 10:08 pm

Hello,

Does anyone know how the validity of the Police clearance certificate for Tier 2 visa purposes. Since I work in healthcare I need it for my visa application. I made mine in November but because of these CoS issues I was not able to apply for my visa. Now if I get my CoS in April I am wondering if this one will still be valid. There is no expiration date on the certificate and the UKVI have not been helpful with the matter either.

Thank you.

PCC is valid for 6 months from the date of issue, if you living in that country! If however, it is from a third country where you have not spent more than 3 months after the issue of the PCC, it is valid for lifetime unless stated otherwise by the UKVI.

By the way, because of the pattern of your exclamation marks and initials I think I recognise you. Are you part of the imgs in the uk facebook group?
