28 days before BRP expiry or ...?

Post by Miafree » Sun Apr 08, 2018 2:40 am

Hello guys, can you please help?
My employment letter states:
employment start date (under Tier 2)
27 May 2013 - till 2018.
While my Tier 2 Visa start date is actually
09 May 2013 - till 2018.
28 days from which date should I count before i can apply for my ILR?

When did you enter the UK? My understanding is you may be able to count from your visa start date, however it is normally '' safe'' to count from when you entered the UK.

Some clarification please.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.

As long as you entered the country within 90 days of 09 May 2013, you can apply for your ILR 28 days before 08 May 2018. Remember though that the period between 09 May 2013 and your entry date count towards the 180 day absence
