UKF application fee for U18?

Post by 1WorriedDad » Sun Apr 08, 2018 4:19 pm

Hi, sorry for asking a stupid question, but what fee do I have to pay for registering an U18 using the UKF form?
Do I pay just £80 as listed on gov.uk or is it £1012?

The UKF application is free of charge , if you meet the required criteria and fall into one of the 4 categories (Section 4C, 4G, 4H, 4I )

if applicant is over 18 then you have to pay £80 for citizenship ceremony

fees table link from GOV.UK below

Yep, both my children were born in UK before 2006 and i am still not married to their mother. I thought that I may have to pay the child registration fees, so I’m very relieved to learn that this is not the case. Many thanks for help.

I am British, my son is Venezuelan, and currently living in Italy. I am applying for his citizenship with the form UKF. I dont know if its £85 or if its naturalisation as he's my son. But he was refused a UK passport application because he has never been to UK.

Where and when was your son born? Where and when was the British parent born?
