Hi everyone..... My fiancé and I have applied for a marriage/settlement visa for me and my daughter to join him in Guernsey, the Channel Islands. We are moving from the US to Guernsey. We have done all the paperwork and applied for the correct visas for myself and my daughter. All the paperwork is in order. When my fiancé went for his interview, the immigration officer interviewing him said “I can only process this application if housing authority is ok with your fiancé and her daughter moving into your place. They said that your place isn’t big enough (it’s a 1 bedroom), so you need to find a bigger place then come back.” Does that mean they are going to approve it? We have been waiting for 5 months now so we are a bit nervous to hear that. We have found a new place, a two bedroom flat. The agent that rented it to us said Housing authority should have no problem with it since it is a two bedroom.
Thanks in advance
