I would like to ask one question.
I have EU/EC Permanent Resident in Netherlands and I have been accepted in one of Master Program in Denmark as exchange student.

My question is, Do I still need a student visa for exchange program though I have EC/EU Permanent Resident.

The program is from Sep 18 till Jan 19.

An any non EU national you need a visa for denmark for any activity.

As a schengen permit you are only allow to visit schengen countries.

The school will ask you for a proof that you allowed to study there. and your non danish document will not help.

Yes. Your PR card is valid for travel within the EU, but your EU PR is only valid for the Netherlands itself. Were you to move to another EU country, you would need to meet the relevant requirements to get the right of residence in that EU country.

Although there is an option of Long term EU Residents for TCN which might suit your situation, The UK, Ireland and denmark have explicitly opted out of this. Therefore you have to apply for a student visa am afraid.
