Tier 2 Reporting of change in activity

I am currently on an Tier 2 general visa as a doctor in training and in February 2018 I applied for less than full time training due to family needs. Due to this my working hours have changed to 32 hours per week and my salary has decreased as well. Going through my emails I came across a TIER 2 reporting form sent to me by my sponsor in June 2017 which mentions that I should report any change in activity within five working days of that change occurring to my sponsor.
Since it is now over two months since the change to my salary and working hours occurred, I am extremely concerned and not sure how this would affect my immigration status and right to work in the UK once I send the completed form to my sponsor.
If someone else has faced a similar situation before or has any advice regarding this I would greatly appreciate it.
