ILR in July - Advice on small issues

Post by ravi_ei » Wed Apr 18, 2018 4:43 pm

Hi All,

My ILR is due in July 2018. Here is my visa history

Nov 2010 - Tier 2 ICT EST STAFF - With Employer A
DEC 2011 - Tier 2 ICT EST STAFF Extension with Employer A
Aug 2013 - Switch to Tier 2 General - With Employer B - SOC 2126 (Shaortage occupation)
Oct 2014 - Extension of Tier 2 General - With Employer B - SOC 2126 (Shaortage occupation)
Dec 2015 - Tier 2 General change of employer - With Employer C - SOC 2126 (Shaortage occupation)
Aug 2017 - Tier 2 General change of employer - With Employer B (Same employer as First Tier 2 General) - SOC 2136 (Shaortage occupation)

On tier

Here are my questions:

1. Though I switched to Tier 2 general in Aug 2013 with employer B, my work start Date was in November first week. I was serving notice period with Employer A between Aug 2013 and Nov 2013. Do I need to supply any letter for absences from Employer A for duration of Aug 2013-Nov2013?

2. I worked for employer B, switched to employer C and then back to employer B again. Could this raise any issue?

Thanks
-Ravi

I don't understand, so you are still working with A from Aug - NOV 2013 but with your Tier2 VISA with B????

No.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply Cyclina. I switched to Tier 2 General in Aug 2013. Start Date of my new job(Employer B) was in November. This was done so I can finish my notice period with Employer A. COS start Date is normally in future(maximum 3 months in future) for this purpose.
Because my Tier 2 General was valid from Aug 2013, if I go for ILR application in July(as per 28 days rule), Do I need to provide a letter from Employer A.
