can i send updated documents to home office!

Post by Rockey » Sat Apr 21, 2018 9:58 am

Hi Gurus,

Just wondering can I send updated Business bank statement to home office!

I sent business online bankstatment (bank stampted) but there was only last four digits account number showing on it becz of online copy statement, normally should be full bank account business name and address should be there so that it can prove i am signatory of buisiness ! Moreover i have also sent bank letter as well which mention my full business name and address , account number and all funds transfered from personel bank statment to business account date by date!

So i m just wondering do i need to send last month original bankstatment as well or its ok , if i need then how to send to home office pls?

Thanks in advance!
Best Regards

Prepare a cover note explaining the document use your case ID number (get it on your Bio Matric Letter) your details on the cover note and send the documents to the address used for ext application, Use special/sign for royal mail service, I believe It will be fine.

You seem to have covered the requirement well enough in your original application

There is no harm in sending it. It is unlikely to be negative

thanks Marcnath, you have been so good.

I just realized that i have two business bank accounts first one was closed in 2015 in which there was one transaction of investment so i sent that stamped bankstatment but there was old business address so i sent one that old one and other one which is current one i sent online one , hence i think old one which was first bankstatment had full business account name and old business address on it so i think it proves that i have uk business account..
Best Regards

Hi Marcnath , Zamba and senior members,

one important query..

I sent home office P46 but I forgot to put my name of on employer's detail that which asks name of employer on second page ...however I put my company address and everything else, does it make any huge difference? and do I need to send cover letter again to mention that I am employer of both my employees?

Look forward to hearing from you soon..

Regards

Again, P46 is not a required document. So as long as your required documents are in order, this is immaterial

Hi Marcnath, zimba and other seniors ,

I notieced that my accountant made some type error on management accounts, do i need to send it copy again or it wont make any difference/negative impact?

Type error was: ' The financial statement form the period May 2017 to April 2018' however it should be 'for' the period!
I am just worried!

Thanks in advance
Best Regards

I can't see them refusing your visa for that

Thankyour Marchnath for reply.

I noticed one more thing that my accountant made another error ! He typed in previous year section 2016 and 2018 in only last page of P&L instead of 2017 and 2018, rest of the pages are ok ! do i need to send updated copy of management accounts?
Best Regards

I do not see any harm in sending them to HO.

The only thing the CW needs in the accounts is your investment details. They are not trying to check your business performance or typo errors in the accounts.

It would be out of the world if they reject your application because of these errors.

Unless you think this will cause them to think the accounts itself is not genuine (I don't think it does)

But as 9elizabeth said, feel free to send an updated doc
