FLR M One Day application without Original Passport

Hello All,

First of all, Thank you very much in advance for reading my query and showing me right direction.

I am a wife of Residence Permit Holder Husband. I applied for FLR M last year with my dependent son. but Home office rejected the application saying my husband's wages
So we made the appeal againds the decision.

Now my husband prepared all the documents again with 6 months payslip showing earnings more then required amount.

Now we want to book one day service for FLR M but now I am getting the news from my resources that Home office is not accepting one day application if your original passport is not with you.

So, my question for all the gurus that is it true that without original passport you can not go for the one day appointment?

Please do guide me for the above question.
