COS Amendment & ISC Payment

Hi All,

My new employer has assigned me with COS letter. Unfortunately, they have added wrong start and end date of employment in the COS letter. Based on that they had paid Immigration Skill Charge (ISC). Basically, Employer requires to add one year more in the COS letter. Please advise on my below queries.

[*]Is it possible to amend the COS letter information (Start and End Date) in Sponsor Management System (SMS) by employer?

[*]If they can amend the start and end in the SMS, how they can pay the remaining ISC charge for one year?

[*]I have seen in some blogs that the assigned COS letter can’t be amended however the employer can add a note in sponsor note within the cos regarding the changes that required. if in this case, please advise how to do with ISC payment for additional one year?

[*]If I have grant with ILR, do the employer will get refund on the ISC from UKVI what they paid excess?

not sure about last 3 questions
But for 1st one I say - Sponsor cannot update the date, but can add a correction note on "Sponsor Note" column

Employer can amend the dates using the sponsor note.
If the employer paid the wrong amount then UKVI will contact them. You don't need to worry about this. It's employer responsibility.

Yes I too agree this

for eg. my CoS have 2 mistakes - start date and salary (a thousand extra calculated and corrected). I mean, both those errors are corrected on Sponsor note.

Thanks a ton Cracker. Not sure how much this is helping Nizam - but for me this is on dot helpful :). You helped me to clear 2 running questions in my mind and I am feeling lot better (although I thought I am safe)
