Travel on stamp 4

Hi. My husband and I are hoping to go for holiday this summer. I am Irish and he is stamp 4 holder. Does he need schengen visa if we are travelling together in Europe? I know about re entry irish visa but unsure if he needs visas travelling with me. Thanks

As long as he does not have stamp4EUFAM type residency, he will require a visa to travel within the Schengen area.

Thank you. Do u know if it's the passport that has to have 3 mths left or his visa. He will have 1 mth left before he can renew. We are only going for a week.

Irish re-entry visa, National passport, Irish GNIB card all have to be valid for at least 90 days.
