Is my Tier 2 visa going to be invalid?

Hi,
I have a Tier 2 visa until 14 June 2018 and my employment with my Tier 2 sponsor ended in April 2018. I am looking for jobs and also preparing application for a Tier 1 (exceptional talent) visa. My question is whether my current Tier 2 visa is going to be invalid or curtailed? I tried to find definite answer from reading the Tier 2 gudiance notes but failed to do so. Some advice in this regard will help me preperly time my Tier 1 application.

You might not get a curtailment letter as your VISA will expire in June'18 so until then you are valid.
