EEA FP and SS when on unemployment benefit

Post by Celisa » Sun Apr 29, 2018 6:12 am

I am Uk national and my husband non EEA. We have been living in France for 4 years. I came here as a worker and was employed from April 2014 - November 2017. But since then I have been a registered jobseeker and claiming unemployment benefit after a redundancy agreement. We have already been granted 2 Family permits when I was employed. But I’m wondering now that I am unemployed (my husband working) will this affect our eligibility for a fp? And if we move back to Uk and apply for a rc through ss will the fact that I was unemployed be a problem. I was exercising my treaty rights when I moved here until the end of last year but have been unemployed and claiming since the beginning of this year? Many thanks
