ILR - Child born in UK

Post by atul5rana » Sun Apr 29, 2018 9:09 pm

Hi
I am planning to apply for ILR for myself and my spouse as we complete 5 years in July 2018. We have a child who is born in UK in April 2016. I had some questions below.

1. Do we need to include the child as a dependent on the ILR application. OR
2. Is there a provision to directly apply for citizenship for child once we have our ILR's processed.
3. If there is a provision to directly apply for citizenship for child post our ILR's arrive, then How soon post our ILR's arrive can we apply for this.

Thanks in advance for the advice and guidance...

Cheers

1. No
2. Yes
3. You can apply the day either of you get your ILR.
