Fiance Visa - Sending Supplementary Documents to Sheffield

Post by crazycamper » Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:19 am

Hello,

I'm hoping someone here can help me, I'm beside myself with panic.

What we have provided: 62 pages of flights up to Oct 2017 + Communication logs up to Sept 17 (I was in the UK from Sept 17 to Feb 2018 so we communicated face to face)

What I think I need to send: Flights of our most recent trips (Sponsor to USA early April, both to Ireland mid April, Applicant to UK (via ferry from Ireland so no stamp!) mid April) + communication between Feb and date of visa submission in April.

So my questions;
Is it required that ALL flight itineraries for trips to see each other are included?
All of our financial and accommodation evidence is dated in the period between Feb and April, we were clearly in contact over this application at the time - should I be worried these logs were not provided?
Is the lack of these documents likely to cause a refusal of the visa?
If so, could this be mitigated to any degree by sending them to sheffield ASAP?

You need to submit the financial information for the 6 months preceding the application. Payslips and bank statements, all originals. If you could find something to show that you were with your fiance from Sept 17 to Feb 2018 ( I, myself, included my credit card statements to show I was actually in the UK with all my expenses and purchases). I would also include all communications you had for the 6 months prior to application. I don't think you need to send ALL flights itineraries but certainly the most recent ones.

Good luck

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

Financials and accoms we are all good on. However, all of that has been sent already, this is an oversight I'm realising now. What I'm really asking is, is it possible to send these extra evidence of the last few months or will that negatively impact our application?

By sending additional documents you are risking:
1) eco can take into account only new documents
2) they will not attach additional documents at all.

If I were you, I would not send additional documents unless they are absolutely critical. I would wait for their further communication.
