B1 Exam - URGENT - Application may be rejected!

Post by pxbnay » Mon Apr 30, 2018 1:27 am

Hey guys,
I did my naturalisation application sometime in March and sent the documents stated on the checklist. On 27/04/2018, I got my passport back in the mail along with a letter that stated that I needed to send my B1/English Test certificate by the 08/5/2018 or my application gets cancelled.
At the time of application, I didn't realise that you needed to do the B1/English Test as well as the LIUK Test, because I'm in my last year of my degree.
Anyway, I booked my test for the earliest date possible which is today (30/04/2018) and I'm quite confident that I'll pass as I've lived in the UK for over 18years and all I know is the english lanuage.
My problem is that the certificate takes upto 7 days to arrive, and it's also bank holiday weekend so I'm worried I won't recieve in time to send it, so they recieve it by 08/5/2018.

Anyone who has done the test, how long did your certificate take to come?
Is there anyway you can ask for an extension of time (I only need an extra couple of days)

What can I do please??? I really can't afford to have my application rejected.

I will appriciate any responses, thank you!!!

if this is the case, you should send the HO your pass result (you got it immediately) and a cover letter explain this. if you cannot get your certificate on time.
