How long to pick up Stamp 4 card?

Hello

I would be grateful to hear others' experiences of how long it took between submitting all documentation for the Stamp 4 at the guarda immigration office, and picking up your actual registration card? I am looking particularly for experiences from Galway. I think I have seen elsewhere on this forum it takes about 2 weeks, but I'd be interested to hear any different experiences?

Also - does anyone know if you have to actually be the one to pick up the card, or can someone else do it for you?
