I applied for citizenship on the 9th March.

Will FMT email me once my application is with the caseworker ?

It seems there have been quite a few threads about this topic. I could see this thread being locked as well.

If you applied online, you would have received an email with your case number within a day or two. If you applied by post, then you would receive a letter with your case number within a few weeks (along with the letter asking for your biometric enrollment). Either way, FMT would not contact you unless you are missing some supporting documentation.
