Original documents to HO

Hi everyone

Do I understand correctly that we need to send original documents for EEA FM RC applications to HO, including original marriage certificate? Will they then return all these documents? Is it safe?

Our original marriage certificate is from Turkey and we only have one copy of it and one official translation. The idea of it getting lost in the post or in HO is giving me nightmares.

Has the system always worked well and all documents are returned to you safe and sound?

Ask at the post office for special delivery, also include special delivery return envelope with your application and you will be fine.
