Is ILR automatically revoked if naturalisation is refused?

Post by mamin » Tue May 01, 2018 5:29 pm

A general query - if a naturalisation application is refused, does the ILR status automatically go with it? Or can one continue to live in the UK on ILR status?

No and Yes.
If it turns out ILR was obtained fraudulently then it may be terminated.

They are 2 different decision taken by 2 different department.

A refusal of naturalisation does not carry a right of appeal, whiles a revocation of ILR will result in a right of appeal if the decision will result in a breach of a person's convention rights.
