Hi
Can you please tell me what is NCS and NDRS. I am trying to understand naturalization form filling.
I read few posts but still didn't understand these terms. Also what is JCRS
NCS- Nationality Checking Service- paper application for naturalization. Council checks ur doc and application form and submits to HO. HO sends you biometric doc and you take to post to take your finger prints
NDRS- Nationality Document Return Service- online application for naturalization. Council only receives your supporting documents and sends to HO. You download biometrics doc and take to post office to take your finger prints.
You mean JNPA. joint nationality and passport application. You have the option of applying for your British passport together with NCS and NDRS at the council. After a successful naturalization application and citizenship ceremony, council will request HO to send your British passport to you via post. The benefit is that you use same referee for passport application and naturalization and it saves you the stress of sending a second application and additional passport processing time. You have the option of sending your passport application via post after you attend citizenship ceremony.
You can send your application directly to HO without NCS/NDRS
