Employee resigned while extension pending

Employee resigned while extension pending

Hello,

I had two employees working for my company for one year, after a year I decided to let go one employee and only kept one employee working for me. Now that employee is just not coming to work from last one month and I assume he no longer wants to continue working because he is not answering or replying back. Am I in trouble here in relation to my extension visa application which is pending? In the meanwhile I will try to recruit but what if they call me for interview in the middle of this?

You should be fine...My decision is pending as well.. I am in the same situation where 2 of my employees have offered resignation in a span of 15 days. its part and parcel of running a business.
