Visitor Visa for Divorcee Brother

Hello,

My elder brother (aged 49) is a Divorcee (no children), living with my parents and takes care of them. I have another brother who lives in a different city in India. He runs small business however does not file any income tax returns since he does not earn that high. He does have savings bank account and enough money to cover this tickets and costs while his stay in UK. He is planning to apply for visitors visa to visit us in Aug for a period of about 3 weeks for which I will be giving the covering letter. I am in UK on Tier 2 ICT Long term visa and current visa expiring in Oct'18. I have following queries:
1. Considering his current status (personal and financial) - Do we have any issue in getting the visitors visa? What else can be shown to provide good justification reason to return?
2. If his visa gets rejected by any chance - will that have an impact on my visa status since I will be apply for renewal in Sep'18?

Sorry just to be clear this is posted on behalf of my husband and the visa we are talking about is for his brother. We have not applied for my father's visa again.
