This may be a fake news.
As far as I know until the time HO consider various things.....like number of applications on table, monthly CoS limit, number of unused CoS from 90 days, and other parameters.... even they dont know what could be the points cutoff...

So it can never be decided until 3rd or 4th week of any month. Recent trend shows 80% of the time 50K and 20% 55K
But given this a new financial year and more CoS available at the start rather towards the end, I presume this time it is 40K or 45K!! (optimistically)

Please be aware it nothing to do with this months allocation and just a speculation .

Hi, im new to uk immigration system. My company offered me a job in UK HQ and xxxxxxx applies for my RCOS on behalf of my employer. My base salary is 78k. Is there a chance of getting the rcos approved in May allocation....if so once approved how long typically it takes to get visa stamped

Yes, you are in with a great chance (I hope xxxxxxx applied for RCoS before 5-May)

Possibly by end of next week, RCoS gets allocated by HO. Afterwards your sponsor (or xxxxxxxxxxxx) will assign the RCoS to you

Then you can straight away apply for VISA (if you have all you supporting documents) and submit them in any VFS from your country, location. I am not sure whether xxxxxxxx is hired for VISA processing too, if so they will help u with this

Once you submited docs, if it is standard service it would take 10 to 15 working days and if it is priority it takes 5 to 7 working days

Good luck

Hoping the RCOS are being issued today, looks like lot of people didnt receive Visa/Papports yet though applied in April 2018. Looks like heavy backlog...
