Salary and Additional work with the same empoyer

Post by vinit_tyagi » Fri May 11, 2018 1:44 pm

Hi,
I am on tier 2 general visa and my ILR is due in November his year.
My employer has a new policy in which employees need to do out of hours support work on weekly rotational basis for which we will be paid extra. This is new company wide policy and most of the persons have to do this out of hours support work.
My question is, does it need to be declared to UKBA. Can it be an issue in my ILR as the amount will be shown in my salary slip and bank statement.

Thanks,
Vinit

This is not an issue to do overtime, with the same role and the same employer, as this is not second job. Usually not a problem but can ask your employer for a letter to explain this.
