Exit and return to UK after Tier 2 Visa has expired

Hello,

I will be exiting the UK on May 23rd 2018, the day my Tier 2 visa expires. I will be visiting Greece and Italy for 19 days. I would like to fly home from London so I would look to re-enter the UK for two nights before flying home.

I am assuming that as long as I have proof of ticket and address details of where I will be staying, I will not have an issue but I have been unable to confirm that there is not a 'do not return within x amount of days' requirement.

If anyone has passed through in a similar situation, any advice would be appreciated!

Should be OK and they will let you enter. But your passport maybe on hold by the custom, and you can only get it back when you are leaving the UK.
