Forgot to sign the cheque

Post by Khushboo3 » Sat May 12, 2018 7:52 pm

Hi,

Me and my husband filed a spouse visa application on 12.05.2018. We did complete every step and followed rigorous procedures but forgot to sign the cheque before posting the application. However within 45 minutes of posting it we did sent another post carrying the signed letter and apologising for our mistake to the home office. The post office people told us that our application will arrive by Monday on 14.04.2018 but the cheque will arrive on 15.04.2018. We did write an email to the home office on 12.05.2018 providing them with the tracking numbers of our posts sent and apologising for the mistake.

Do you know what possibilities are there that our application will be accepted and it won’t be invalid?

Thanks
Khushboo

Should be ok. Since it is an FLR or atleast an in-country application you can call them for free from UK and tell them what happened. Should be ok. Didnt know people use cheques still!
