Although I would not be making an FLR (HR) extension application until June 2019 but I thought it’s better to think ahead and plan accordingly.
In December 2016 I was granted leave to remain outside of the immigration rule because of the parental relationship I’ve with my British citizen child. My British citizen partner and I have always lived together with our two British citizen children.
At the time of the FLR (FP) application in 2016 that was subsequently granted I submitted an expired English language certificate passed at A1 level which I had used in a previous visa application (the application was in an entirely different immigration category).
As the application I would be making in 2019 would be based on Article 8 of the ECtHR would anyone be able to let me know if it’s a mandatory requirement that I have to submit a valid English language certificate taken at A2 when submitting the extension application.
Thanks in anticipation of your responses!
