Dependent Visa for Tier 2 Main Applicant - Accommodation

Post by deecr27 » Sun May 13, 2018 1:31 pm

Hi!

I have been living and working here in the UK since April 2014 under the Tier 2 visa. My husband is now here with me on a Dependant Visa. Now, we have a 5 month old daughter back home whom we are planning to bring here in the UK by December this year, by then she will be 1 year old. We currently live in a one-bedroom flat. We have a separate Spam/lounge. Do we need another bedroom for her when she comes? I have read that children less than one year old does not count as a person, and children 1-10 years old count as half. Is our flat okay for 2.5 persons? Please help! Thank you.

1 bedroom flat is enough for a couple and a one year old infant.
