Urgent : Employer Ref Letter : Mandatory Clause ? (Tier 2 route)

Post by swiftsid » Mon May 14, 2018 9:57 am

Hi everyone,

Could you please help me to confirm if the below clause is mandatory in the Reference Letter from Employer.

"Confirmation that this is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the codes of practice for Tier2 Sponsors"

I have got the letter from employer which does have the clause for employment in foreseeable future but it does not have the above clause. Also my salary is above the rate as per SOC code.

Do you think that clause is still required ? Shall I ask my amployer another letter with that aclause added.

Please advise asap as my PSC appointment is on Wed - 16th May

Thanks

Just ask your employer to add it back. Not necessary to make yourself worries.
