Family Visa Fees Assistance with paying

Post by alangour » Mon May 14, 2018 1:48 pm

My son is struggling to pay for the coats incurred with getting his family into the country. Are there any ways of getting some help with the cost of this?

The Home Office offer no concessions on visa fee payments. Does your son meet the mandatory income level of £18,600 p.a (assuming any children are British citizens). :?:

He meets the salary levels, but the cost of getting his family in is expensive.

Am afraid it's the same for everyone. Unless he is on benefits (with salary of £18,600) which he isnt he will need to save up to sponsor the application.

Unfortunately the visa fees generally increase every April and the additional NHS Surcharge fee is due to double from £600 to £1200 per person for a Family Settlement visa later this year.
