Vacation after Compliance Visit from Home Office

Hope I can get some expert opinions on this board!

Background:
I am tier 2 general and my visa expires in Aug 2018. Before 40 days there was a pre-arranged compliance visit from Home office and still, we are waiting for a feedback. I was not there in the office at the time of visit. But on behalf of me, HR provided all the required documents and we uploaded some evidences after their visit. I have been worked in Dubai for around 5 months for a project from my company.

My question is: I have already planned my vacation next week for 15 days and my solicitor is saying can I wait until the decision is taken? Will going for a vacation to my home country affect my decision? Will they stop me at the airport? I am not sure how long it will take for the decision and also my visa is expiring in August.

Can anyone suggest what I can do?

You definitely have no problem to go aboard, you won't be stopped at the airport. I think your solicitor worries that if there is any issue you are stopped to COME BACK to the UK.

And now 180 days rules is changed into rolling 12-month period, so if you have plan on applying ILR in the UK, you should also bear that in mind, any absence more than 180 days will consider as break of continuous residency. If you have already worked in Dubai for 5 months, you don't have many quota to leave the UK.

I have worked in dubai for the same employer and i was paid in uk. Its a like onsite for a customer to implement some solution.

Will still calculated towards 180 days?

And if my employers license is suspended while i was in vacation, will i able to get in?

You are not allowed to spend more than 180 days outside of UK in any 12 months period. Since you have already spent 5 months in Dubai, you might have issues of breaking continuous stay in the future if you choose to apply for ILR.
If you go on holiday and your sponsor's licence is revoked, your visa will be curtailed. And if you are outside of UK when your visa is curtailed, there is a possibility that you will not be allowed to enter back into the UK. I guess your solicitor has given you a good and cautious advice.
