Third Party Funding : Tier 1 (Initial Entrepreneur application)

Post by bharat1992 » Tue May 15, 2018 6:21 am

Hi Forum,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 Entrepreneur from India and as part of 200K will show some funds(~30K) from my Dad's friend. I did not manage to find clear definition for who qualifies to be third party funding source in the documentation.(link to documentation)

From Page 52 :"The applicant can include money made available by other people known as a third
party or third parties so long as the third party is not another Tier 1 Entrepreneur
migrant or another Tier 1 Entrepreneur migrant’s close family members or
businesses. In these cases, ....."

Can someone please clarify or direct me in the right direction.

Additional Information
I am already aware of these documentary requirements :
1. Third party letter for Dad's friend
2. Letter from legal representative verifying the signatures
3. Cover Letter from Bank stating availability of funds

And the only concern left is to verify whether my dad's friend can be a source of 3rd party funding for me.For sake of clarity, this friend has not promised any money to any other Tier 1 applicant.

Thanks in advance!

As the guidance says, anyone or any business can be a third party funding source except for other T1E entrepreneurs or their associations.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.
