TB Certificate for a returning Student

Post by saliame » Tue May 22, 2018 4:47 pm

Hi,

This question is on the behalf of my friend, who is returning student and applying for visa from Pakistan, was in UK since Oct17 and completed the pre-masters in May18 and left UK, now for further study visa does he need TB certificate again or not?

Please if anyone can confirm?

*He originally provided TB certificate when the 1st visa was granted back in Sep 2017
* He only left UK when the course completed, not anytime in between.

Many Thanks in advance.

KR,

S

You can refer him to this Home Office web-page, which includes "Who doesn’t need to be tested":

https://www.gov.uk/tb-test-visa
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.

Who doesn’t need to be tested
You won’t need a TB test if any of the following apply:

you’re a diplomat accredited to the UK
you’re a returning UK resident and haven’t been away for more than 2 years
you lived for at least 6 months in a country where TB screening is not required by the UK, and you’ve been away from that country for no more than 6 months.

So the 3rd option applies to him, then?
