Tier 2 dependent to ILR-cohabitation docs query-Help please!

Post by Mehreen » Wed May 23, 2018 12:06 am

i
Can anyone please advise me on SET O application form?

My husband and child are now British citizens. My husband got his ILR on Tier-2(5-year route ) and now his passport this year.
I am still on a Tier-2 dependent visa valid till 2019.
I am applying through the Premium service on Thursday( 24/5) as I complete 5 years on Tier 2 dependent and am eligible for ILR. I have the following queries if anyone could help Please:

With form SET O

1- How many cohabitation documents do I need to provide? What period should these cover? I have heard 2 years. Does that mean I should have a document for every month for two years with me and my husband's name on it?

2-Is there any document in addition to these I need to show?

a-Passport
b-BRP
c-Cohabitation docs
d-Life in the UK pass certificate
e- UK NARIC conformation (2 documents)
f-Marriage certificate
g-My payslips and bank statements

3- Do I need any of my husband's documents or payslips? Original or copies apart from the cohabitation stuff?
Any help will be much appreciated.. I booked the appointment last minute because suddenly could find the premium service slot! Now panicking!

This depends what you are applying for and if using postal or PSC.

My understanding is, for PSC and settlement applications, yes you will require photocopies, whereas if it was postal then no.
These are my 'views' and 'opinions'.
If in doubt always seek professional advice, or at least do a search for the relevant information. :P

If i make any mistakes, You are more than welcome to correct me.

Could you please share your experiences here? Have you provide the cohabitation documents? How did you prepare them? Thank you very much.
