Leave less than 5 years(5years minus 28days)

Post by jafersadeq » Wed May 23, 2018 11:51 pm

Dear Gurus,

1-Does the applicant have to have 5 years or more to be eligible to apply 28 days before his 5 years completion?

2-To clarify my question above, if the applicant has a valid leave 4 years+11 months+3 days, can he apply for settlement on the last day of his leave, or he has to apply for extension then vary to settlement?

Thanks

You can apply within 28 days of completing the 5 years. That is simply the earliest you can apply

Dear zimba88,
Please note, my question is, the applicant does not have a leave for 5 years, he has 4 years +11 months +3 days.
Can he apply for settlement in that case?

Thanks a lot,
